dB24 Software for Casella CEL-24x

This optional software allows the CEL-246 real-time USB output to be logged and stored on a PC. Sound pressure levels are stored every second by dB24 in a data file compatible with PC-based spreadsheet applications.

The data stored in the CEL-246 is also accessible because these gauges work like a memory stick, allowing the data to be transferred to spreadsheet applications.

The Casella dB24 software allows regular recording of data for noise research, time history progression and a hard copy of results for archival purposes. Other uses of the software include analysis of significant events of short duration, such as pile driving or aircraft overflights, removal of unwanted samples when it is not necessary to collect information, and also for investigating neighborhood noise complaints.

The software can still record when unattended noise monitoring is performed at inconvenient times of the day.

One advantage of the software is that it can provide input for official reports.
