Thermal Comfort
The most commonly used measurement in the workplace is the WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) index.
It is the employer’s responsibility to carry out a risk analysis of the technological or climatic thermal environments present in the workplace, taking into account air temperature, expressed in degrees Celsius; relative humidity, expressed as a percentage; air speed, expressed in meters per second; PMV and PPD indices are described in ISO 7730 “Ergonomics of thermal environments – Analytical determination and interpretation of thermal comfort by calculating PMV and PPD indices and local thermal comfort criteria.
We offer sales and rental solutions for measuring these different indices.
